The SDCL Underwriting course will outline how best to underwrite small dollar consumer loans according to a loan fund’s risk preferences and goals. At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to identify common SDCL underwriting practices, understand risks and risk mitigation strategies, and consider ways of streamlining underwriting to make loan decisions faster.

The Small Dollar Consumer Lender Boot Camp offers leaders, loan officers, and program staff at CDFIs and nonprofit lenders training to help overcome barriers to providing small dollar consumer loans (SDCLs).
